ReturnBy
Keep purchase return dates in view.
Help with this app
Check the deadline against your retailer’s policy. If reminders do not appear, check notification permission and device notification settings. Reminders depend on operating-system scheduling and cannot be guaranteed. Use the dashboard deadline as your reference. Marking a purchase returned cancels its outstanding reminders.

Information on your device
ReturnBy stores purchase names, retailers, prices, dates, statuses, notes, receipt and product photographs, reminder settings and scheduled local reminders on your device. Images are copied into app-controlled storage and normalised with source metadata removed. Interrupted photo selections may be retained for you to reuse or discard.
Reminder dates are calculated locally. Notifications are scheduled with your device’s operating system; they do not use a remote push service. Notification previews can show the purchase name and return deadline on your lock screen according to your device settings. You can use the app without granting notification permission.
The core workflow works without an internet connection. We do not receive this content through the app and do not operate a cloud backend for it. ReturnBy has no account registration, advertising, behavioural analytics, tracking SDK or subscription. We cannot access or restore your app content from a NoCloud server.
Permissions and sharing
Camera access is used when you take a photograph. The system photo picker gives access to photographs you select. Notification permission is requested for optional reminders. ReturnBy does not require microphone, contacts or device location access. Its time-zone setting comes from the operating system, not GPS. A selected photograph may belong to an external cloud photo library.
When you choose to share or export content, the operating system passes a copy to the destination you select. An email, messaging, file or cloud-storage service you choose has its own privacy practices. NoCloud does not receive that copy unless you deliberately send it to us, for example in a support email.
Storage and deletion
Use the app’s delete and discard controls to remove purchases or unused photographs. Marking a purchase returned or keeping it cancels outstanding reminders when the change is saved; deleting a purchase also removes its reminders. Exported PDF records and image summaries are individual copies, not a complete restorable database backup.
Removing the app or losing your device can remove your only copy. Device backups and transfers are controlled by your operating system and settings; do not rely on them as a guaranteed way to restore app data. We do not provide cloud backup or recovery. Deleting app content does not remove originals in your photo library, exports or copies held by other services. Deletion is not a promise of forensic secure erasure.
Temporary sharing copies can remain while a receiving app reads them. On a later app launch or share, the app cleans up supported share-cache files older than one day. Cleanup does not run while the app is closed.
App stores, support and this website
The store handles purchases and downloads under its own policies and may provide sales statistics or platform diagnostic reports. This is separate from the app’s local processing.
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send through Gmail. Routine support emails are deleted 12 months after an enquiry closes, except information needed for a continuing dispute or legal obligation. Visiting this website also sends request information to its hosting provider, Cloudflare. See website and support privacy for details and provider policies.
Privacy questions and requests
Email ascaidevlabs@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” to ask about, access, correct or request deletion of information you have sent us. Identify the relevant email conversation without attaching private app content. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the person concerned. For content stored only on your device, use the app’s controls; we cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
