Help with this app

Create a project, select the stamp fields and take repeated photographs. Export a project ZIP containing stamped JPEGs and a manifest with hashes. Times come from the device clock and are labelled accordingly; a SHA-256 hash detects subsequent byte changes and is not legal notarisation.

GPS and untouched-original retention are optional. Changing these choices affects future captures, not stamps or originals already saved. A project ZIP contains stamped copies only; a full backup also includes any retained originals.

Information on your device

ProofCam stores projects, client/reference/operator text, notes, stamp settings, immutable capture context, timestamps, photographs and optionally coordinates in private app storage. When GPS is disabled for a capture, no coordinates are stored in its context, stamp or manifest.

Stamped JPEGs contain permanent visible facts and do not inherit source camera EXIF/GPS metadata. Selected coordinates and other stamp text are still visible pixels and can appear in the export manifest. Optional untouched originals preserve source bytes and any metadata. Full backups include retained originals.

The core workflow works without an internet connection. We do not receive your app content through the app and do not operate a NoCloud server for it. The app has no account registration, advertising, subscription, tracking SDK or third-party behavioural analytics. We do not sell personal information. We cannot access or recover your local app content remotely.

Permissions and sharing

Camera access is requested when entering capture. Camera audio is disabled and microphone access is not requested. Location permission is optional, foreground only and used for a current coordinate fix when selected. Permission denial, disabled services or no fix do not prevent a photograph. No background tracking or address lookup is used. Device location providers remain governed by operating-system settings and policies.

A photograph, document or backup you select through a system picker may come from a cloud provider you use. When you choose Share, the operating system passes a copy to your selected destination. Email, messaging, file and cloud-storage services have their own privacy practices. NoCloud does not receive that copy unless you deliberately send it to us, for example by email.

Storage and deletion

Deleting a project or photo offers an eight-second Undo period. Owned files are removed after that period or at a later safe cleanup/restart when necessary. Disabling original retention does not delete existing originals; delete the photo to remove them. Supported temporary export/share copies older than one day are pruned at startup and before further sharing when file access succeeds.

Removing the app or losing your device can remove your only copy. Device backups and transfers are controlled by your operating system and settings; do not rely on them as a guaranteed recovery mechanism. NoCloud provides no cloud backup or recovery. Deleting app content does not delete source files, exports or backups stored elsewhere. Cleanup runs when the app performs the relevant operation, not continuously while it is closed. Normal file deletion is not a promise of forensic secure erasure.

App stores, support and this website

The store handles purchases and downloads under its own policies and may provide sales statistics or platform diagnostic reports. This is separate from the app’s local processing.

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send through Gmail. Routine support emails are deleted 12 months after an enquiry closes, except information needed for a continuing dispute or legal obligation. Avoid attaching private photographs, documents or customer records unless necessary. Visiting this website sends request information to its hosting provider, Cloudflare. See website and support privacy for details and provider policies.

Privacy questions and requests

Email ascaidevlabs@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” to ask about, access, correct or request deletion of information you sent us. Identify the relevant email conversation without attaching private app content. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the person concerned. For content stored only on your device, use the app’s controls; we cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
