Help with this app

Create an inspection project and its locations, add a snag, then attach photographs and mark the defect. Set severity and status before exporting a numbered PDF or report-and-images ZIP. Marks affect generated copies; the imported original remains available.

Use Export full backup to preserve the complete inspection, including original photographs. A report PDF is not a restorable backup. Check the recipient and each photograph before sharing original files.

Information on your device

SnagBook stores projects, property/address text, customer and inspector details, inspection dates, locations, snag notes, severity, status, ordering, photo annotations and photographs in private app storage.

Imported original photographs are retained unchanged and may contain location and other source metadata. Marked photographs and report images are freshly rendered without copying that source metadata. Share original and full backup include original bytes and their metadata.

The core workflow works without an internet connection. We do not receive your app content through the app and do not operate a NoCloud server for it. The app has no account registration, advertising, subscription, tracking SDK or third-party behavioural analytics. We do not sell personal information. We cannot access or recover your local app content remotely.

Permissions and sharing

Camera access is used when you choose to take a photograph. The system photo picker supplies selected photographs; the file picker supplies a backup you choose to restore. Snags can be recorded without pictures. The app does not need microphone, contacts, device location or notification access.

A photograph, document or backup you select through a system picker may come from a cloud provider you use. When you choose Share, the operating system passes a copy to your selected destination. Email, messaging, file and cloud-storage services have their own privacy practices. NoCloud does not receive that copy unless you deliberately send it to us, for example by email.

Storage and deletion

Delete projects or snags using the app controls; immediate Undo is available. Files needed by another record or Undo are retained. Unreferenced image files are cleaned on a later successful startup. Draft and report staging files are removed after normal use, with interrupted staging cleaned on a later successful startup. Supported share caches older than one day are cleaned on a later launch or share.

Removing the app or losing your device can remove your only copy. Device backups and transfers are controlled by your operating system and settings; do not rely on them as a guaranteed recovery mechanism. NoCloud provides no cloud backup or recovery. Deleting app content does not delete source files, exports or backups stored elsewhere. Cleanup runs when the app performs the relevant operation, not continuously while it is closed. Normal file deletion is not a promise of forensic secure erasure.

App stores, support and this website

The store handles purchases and downloads under its own policies and may provide sales statistics or platform diagnostic reports. This is separate from the app’s local processing.

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send through Gmail. Routine support emails are deleted 12 months after an enquiry closes, except information needed for a continuing dispute or legal obligation. Avoid attaching private photographs, documents or customer records unless necessary. Visiting this website sends request information to its hosting provider, Cloudflare. Privacy questions and requests

Email ascaidevlabs@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request” to ask about, access, correct or request deletion of information you sent us. Identify the relevant email conversation without attaching private app content. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the person concerned. For content stored only on your device, use the app’s controls; we cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.
